I have wanted to get a breast reduction since I was 16 or so. I just now feel stable and ready enough to, but, now I am 23 and intend on having children before I am 30. Should I TRY to suck it up and wait until after I’ve gone through my pregnancies? I want it so badly but feel it would be a waste if going through pregnancy will just adverse any progress the surgery makes, what do I do?

  4. I would definately wait until after pregnancies and babies…because your body will change..no matter how much and how fast you lose the weight, etc…your body may go back..but jsut differently. So you wouldnt want to waste the money and recovery time on something that hurts and is expensive if you will have to fix it again later…and also plan to breastfeed that may have an effect on it as well.

  5. I would wait, my cousin had hers done at 16 because she was already an F size at that point but after 2 kids she now is even bigger than she was to start with. Another note is that sometimes you can’t breastfeed after the surgery, my cousin was unable to and she had a great surgeon so I know that wasnt the problem. The dr just told her that it isn’t always possible to nurse if you have the surgery. So that would be another reason to wait if you are thinking about nursing a baby.

    i' ve wilde aangezien ik 18, i' was; m 24 nu, heeft 2 kinderen en het gaan tot i' wachten; ve had 2 plus het geeft me meer tijd om geld voor het omhoog te besparen!

  7. I have been wanting to have a reduction as well since I was younger also. But I would wait due to all the reasons everyone else is telling you (your boob are going to get BIGGER in your pregnancy anyways). It is a concern of mine now that I am pregnant due to the fact that I was a 36F before pregnancy and had back problems to where now (3 months later) I’m scared to even go get fitted because I know I’m at least one cup size bigger… And telling you if you have back problems cause of your boobs you will have more back problems while you are pregnant. But I would still wait.

  8. I had a breast reduction when I was 18 thinking I would never have kids because I didnt want any, I went from a DDD to a C. I had my first child almost 4 years ago and my breasts are back to a large D-DD…So I would wait til after, I would have had I known I would end up having someone in my life who wanted to have a family with me.
